Hitachi brings rail manufacturing back to its British birthplace

Our union members, Hitachi, Ltd. officially announced that Hitachi Rail Europe (HRE) celebrated the return of rail manufacturing to its British home in the North East, joining with key delivery partners at the official opening of a Rail Vehicle Manufacturing Facility in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
