Niigata Transys Co.,Ltd. merged with the former company Niigata Engineering Co., Ltd. and the rolling stock department of Fuji Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. was founded in the year of 2003. Niigata Transys Co., Ltd. being the top share of diesel cars as the core business of the rolling stock and his product ranges are widely a new transit system, low floor trams, maintenance cars and snowplows which are being utilized in snowy areas and also indispensable to daily life and safety operation and has been experienced widely and broadly.
His technologies and know-hows fostered based on many experiences have been accepted extensively not only in Japan but also overseas.
New transit systems having interior comfortability, enhancement of maintenability of vehicles and adopting latest technology have been being operated in Hong Kong International Airport and Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in order to facilitate movement of airport passengers and to support ground staff there.
24 units of Diesel Electric Multiple Units (DEMU) for Yangon-Mandalay Railway Improvement Project Phase 1- electricity generated by diesel engines drives motors - was awarded to Niigata Transys Co., Ltd. by Myanma Railways in 2018.
It takes 7 hours approximately to go from the biggest commercial city-Yangon to Taungoo, but it will take 3 hours 20 minutes after commercial operation of DEMU. DEMU will solve mitigation of a traffic problem and contribute to development of socioeconomics by mitigation of burden of Myanmar's people's transit.
